They better play this.

What's even stranger is that the audience will listen to the show through headphones . Metallica's basically become a more absurd version of Dethklok at this point. They were a joke before, but now it's just getting ridiculous.

Maybe they should stay there.

I'm surprised we don't have a MetalliCastle yet.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was under construction haha. Like, where do you go from a concert in Antarctica?

Call me what you will, but you have to agree it's getting a tad farcical. An avant-garde album with Lou Reed, country songs (Mama Said), concerts in Antartica, getting haircuts? inb4 butthurt metal nerd, but they're far from the Metallica they once were.

Metallica, it's been almost 26 years since they made thrash metal, but when they did, it was epic. No more dumb movies and stunts, just keep it THRASH \m/ 666 \m/

It's what happens when people get old and self important. When you're old and rich and nuts you're called an eccentric genius, versus the rest of the poor lost senile masses who we just call insane. I demand you respect their genius!

At least we still have Megadeth.

Meh, I respect them as an independent artist who can do whatever the hell they want, but 'Metallica' is more of a brand now than anything. They're geniuses at marketing, I'll give them that.

Anyone else remember Tuktoyaktuk in '95?

It's called age kids.
No, they aren't quite what they were in the 80s. They're still damn good* and I'm glad they're still be around.
